- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or clinical background preferred
- 2+ years of medical device or surgical sales experience
- Experience selling into hospital and surgical environments
- Strong understanding of operating room protocols and sterile field standards preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the United States
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air as needed
- Coordinate and execute product trials, evaluations, and conversions within hospital systems
- Deliver hands-on training and in-services tailored to surgeons, OR nurses, and tech staff
- Manage complex sales cycles involving value analysis committees and clinical decision-makers
- Build and maintain relationships across multiple specialties including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and Bariatrics
- Track pipeline activity, account progress, and forecasting using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to support national accounts and large health systems
Skills:
- Experience with laparoscopic surgical products
- Prior operating room experience (clinical or sales support)
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate with surgeons at a high level
- Experience navigating IDNs and large hospital systems
- Highly self-motivated with strong territory management skills
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical product details
- Comfortable presenting to both small clinical groups and large audiences
