We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Associate Sales Representative who is based in Chicago, Illinois to support Tae Woong Medical USA’s continued growth across an assigned multi-state territory. The specific territory will be discussed during the interview process.

Work Location and Travel

This is a field-based, multi-state position. The selected candidate must reside in Illinois and be able to travel up to 70% throughout the assigned territory. Travel will primarily be by car but may also require air travel, overnight stays and occasional attendance at company meetings, training programs and industry events.

About the Role

The Associate Sales Representative will promote Tae Woong Medical USA’s GI product portfolio, expand territory sales and support existing customer accounts. This position involves significant travel and requires the ability to build strong clinical and business relationships with physicians, hospital staff and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will combine medical-device sales experience, clinical confidence and strategic territory management to identify opportunities, educate customers and convert interest into purchasing commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand Tae Woong’s presence within the assigned territory
  • Identify and develop new hospitals, physicians and customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinical staff, hospital administrators and purchasing personnel
  • Meet with customers to understand their clinical and operational needs
  • Present and promote Tae Woong’s GI products and clearly communicate their features, benefits and appropriate applications
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on product usage
  • Provide clinical and procedural support when appropriate
  • Identify key decision-makers and navigate hospital purchasing and approval processes
  • Convert customer interest into evaluations, cases, purchase orders and long-term account growth
  • Analyze sales reports, territory activity and account performance
  • Develop and execute territory action plans based on sales opportunities and customer needs
  • Maintain an accurate and organized sales pipeline
  • Document customer interactions, opportunities and follow-up activities in the company’s CRM
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support account onboarding, inventory needs, product training and customer service
  • Respond promptly to customer questions, concerns and product-support needs
  • Attend company meetings, training programs, conferences and industry events as required
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory by car and, when necessary, by air

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of medical-device sales experience required
  • Direct GI or endoscopy medical-device sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience selling to physicians, hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers preferred
  • Experience providing clinical education, procedural support or product demonstrations preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop accounts and achieve sales objectives
  • Strong understanding of territory planning, pipeline management and customer follow-up
  • Comfortable discussing technical and clinical products with healthcare professionals
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized and capable of working independently in a field-based role
  • Ability to manage frequent travel and changing customer priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to travel up to 70% throughout the assigned territory
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing and access requirements

Work Location
