As the Operations Coordinator, you will be a high-performing individual in a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of our showroom and supporting the needs of our team.
The Operations Coordinator will oversee various operational aspects, including supporting the sales team, managing showroom inventory, providing administrative support, and ensuring the sales process is efficient and streamlined for clients and team members. This opportunity allows you to join a growing business, and the company wants team members to be invested, challenged, and grow with it. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the team to contribute to the overall success of the team and showroom.
- Sales Support:
Generate quotes, process sales orders, and handle customer inquiries related to purchases. Assist the sales team before, during, and after the sales processes. Assist the sales team by providing product samples, catalogs, and other resources. - Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, product details, and pricing. Creation of organizational systems. Monitor and reorder stock as necessary to ensure product availability. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries. - Showroom Maintenance:
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Arrange tile displays and update them to showcase new products or design trends. - Administrative Tasks:
Maintain records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory data. Field inbound phone calls and direct them to the correct team member. Prepare reports as needed for management and sales analysis. Calling on and working with company vendors. Managing and handling shipping and receiving.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
- 2-3+ years of operations or coordinator experience; previous experience in the design, stone/tile, or luxury furnishings industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, and Gmail) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM application.
- Excellent problem-solver; enjoys finding solutions and approaching challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work with driven, focused, and dynamic individuals, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently on tasks and produce detail-oriented results when doing so.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy samples.
