Inside Sales Representative

Overview

One of our clients in the health insurance industry is hiring Inside Sales Representatives for their downtown Chicago Loop office. This is a fully in-office role — candidates must be able to work onsite daily. They’re also open to candidates willing to relocate to the Chicago area.

There’s no cold calling
—you’ll handle inbound, warm leads from people actively seeking health insurance. You’ll be on the phone constantly, making 50–100 calls per day, and operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

• Handle inbound calls and assist customers with health insurance enrollment
• Follow up with leads and provide expert-level service and recommendations
• Build strong relationships through consultative selling
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Hit daily/weekly call and sales metrics
• Stay compliant with all legal and licensing requirements
• Contribute to a supportive and performance-oriented team culture

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• Sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort spending the majority of the day on the phone
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Professional demeanor and phone presence
• Ability to pass the state health insurance licensing exam
• Willingness to work onsite every day in the Chicago Loop
• Relocation to the Chicago area is welcome (relocation assistance not provided)

• Typical first-year earnings: $60,000–$75,000
• Second-year earnings: $65,000–$90,000+ (based on performance)
• Monthly bonuses + commission
