Position: Regional Sales Managers for Mid-West Region and West Region

Davis-Standard is a global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our systems encompass over 14 product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical and packaging. Our company has manufacturing and technical facilities in the United States, Canada, China, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies focused on aftermarket retrofits, rebuilds, modernizations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities within the installed equipment base to improve productivity, efficiency, reliability, safety, and product quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding engagement with key decision makers throughout customer organizations.
  • Conduct customer equipment assessments, site visits, and operational reviews to identify lifecycle upgrade opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, product management, and project management teams to develop customized technical solutions.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and project handoff.
  • Develop and present business cases, ROI analyses, and value propositions supporting customer investment in retrofit and modernization projects.
  • Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of large capital aftermarket opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and opportunity updates using Salesforce CRM.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, commercial reviews, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events to promote aftermarket solutions.
  • Deliver assigned revenue, margin, and bookings objectives consistent with annual business plans.
  • Adhering to the Company’s policies and supporting Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner
  • Representing Davis-Standard with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
  • Possessing a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality
  • Exhibiting a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor
  • Ensuring the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization’s business processes to ensure customer satisfaction (internal and external); support non-conformity reporting and continuous improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment retrofits, rebuilds, modernization programs, and aftermarket service offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex technical solutions and capital equipment projects.
  • Experience managing long-cycle sales opportunities and multi-stakeholder customer relationships.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project scopes.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience developing ROI and payback analyses.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, project management, manufacturing, and field service organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
    Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • Preferred geographic territory:
    Chicago:
    Mid-West Region(1 Opportunity);
    Seattle:
    West Region (1 opportunity)
Education And Experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, aftermarket sales, capital project sales, or engineered solutions sales.
  • Proven track record of developing and closing retrofit, rebuild, upgrade, modernization, or capital improvement projects.
  • Experience working with extrusion, converting, plastics processing, manufacturing equipment, or related industrial machinery preferred.
