Identify, solicit, and develop new client opportunities in an assigned market. Utilize a consultative (Designed Thinking) sales approach by helping business prospects assess their point-of-sale operating environment and organizational goals. Deliver integrated, value-add solutions that address those needs. Self-source leads and actively work with the Regional Growth Management Team to identify lead opportunities. Conduct on-site client product demonstrations and consultations. Ensure referrals and new business opportunities are addressed in a high quality, responsive manner, striving to deliver the Perfect Client Experience (PCE) with every client interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead new business development efforts throughout the organization

Consult with prospects to understand the user (prospect) and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with their initial level of understanding

Create a customized solution to address the goals/needs of a prospect or areas of improvement

Deliver customized solution addressing the goals/needs of the prospect

Gain commitment from prospect

Communicate with Client Service Team to implement the plan for the prospect to ensure that opportunities are maximized

Utilize to record sales activities, meaningful information about sales calls and create follow up activities

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all applicable point-of-sale solutions, services, terminology, and industry trends by attending all mandatory training.

Required Skills and

Competencies:

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or a technical-based degree, or equivalent education and related training

Three to five years of proven sales business to business experience

Accomplished interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Self-starter with the ability to self-source leads

Ability to work without close supervision

Excellent time management skills

Solid technical comprehension skills

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Extensive travel, occasionally overnight

The annual base salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000.
