About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Sales Associate to join their team in George . This role is crucial in driving sales, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring a superior customer experience. You will act as a brand ambassador, assisting customers with their needs, processing transactions, and maintaining the visual presentation of the sales floor. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic retail environment, contributing directly to the store's success and growth while developing your skills in sales and customer engagement within the beautiful Western Cape region.

• Engage customers proactively, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Achieve and surpass individual sales targets through effective selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
• Maintain the visual standards of the store, including product placement, displays, and overall cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving stock and conducting stock takes.
• Provide ongoing product training and support to newer sales associates.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role, preferably within retail.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly about new offerings.
• Experience with retail POS systems is essential.
