We are seeking a motivated Outside Food service Sales Representative to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships, with a primary focus on bakery customers throughout the Chicagoland area.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven salesperson with strong prospecting skills and an understanding of food service.
Bakery or food service distribution sales experience is strongly preferred. Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

• Develop new bakery and food service accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct regular customer and prospect visits throughout the territory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Grow existing accounts through additional product opportunities.
• Prepare pricing, quotes, and product recommendations.
• Follow up on leads, quotes, orders, and customer needs.
• Stay informed on product availability, pricing, and market trends.
• Coordinate with purchasing, customer service, warehouse, and transportation teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.

• Sales, outside sales, customer service, or business development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling.
• Self-motivated and able to manage an outside territory independently.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Chicagoland.

Food service distribution sales, bakery sales, knowledge of bakery ingredients/food service products, Chicagoland industry relationships, and Spanish/English bilingual skills.
