Legacy Foods Mfg is growing, and we’re excited to add a Commercialization & Food Scientist
to our team in Elk Grove Village.
This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of R&D, Operations, QA, Procurement, and Sales
, leading products from bench-top development to full-scale commercial production
.
If you have strong experience in sauces, dressings, and liquid food systems
and enjoy working hands-on in plant environments, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
You’ll play a key role in:
- Lead product commercialization from pilot to full production
- Translate R&D formulas into scalable manufacturing formulas
- Optimize emulsions, viscosity systems, and flavor stability
- Conduct plant trials and troubleshoot processing challenges
- Support FSMA, HACCP, and labeling compliance
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, QA, Procurement, and Sales
- Support national QSR, chain restaurant, and retail customers
We’re looking for a detail-oriented problem solver
who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can manage projects from concept through launch.
