Security Officer - Flex High‑Rise Patrol
Position Type: Flex
Pay Rate: $21.08 / Hour
Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, lobbies, loading docks, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including disturbances, access issues, medical events, and/or fire and alarm activations, and escape to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe building activity for unusual conditions, assist with visitor direction, and/or coordinate with property management on access control and tenant requests per site policy.
- Complete detailed patrol and incident documentation, communicate key updates during shift transitions, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to Allied Universal and site leadership.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
