Security Position:
We are seeking a professional and alert Security team member to join our staff in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff at our high-volume restaurant and bar. This hourly role has varying hours from 10am – 4am depending on season or day of the week.

All black or a black shirt and dark jeans. Hats and shirts should be plain black or black with one of our logos.

• Checks IDs at the door.
• Keep staff and guests safe.
• Monitor and defuse situations.
• Awareness of signs of over intoxication.
• Aware of capacity and conducts capacity counts.
• Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances.
• Notify the manager as soon as possible when a situation arises.
• Communicate with staff and patrons in a professional and calm manner.
• Knowledgeable of steps of service for greeting guests with a pleasant and inviting demeanor.

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Authoritative verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.

• Security guard training certification preferred.
• Previous experience a plus but not required.
• Basset Certification (note: ensure correct spelling if intended)

• Stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Move quickly throughout all areas of the restaurant and bar as needed.
• Respond rapidly and appropriately in emergency or dynamic situations.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient visual and auditory acuity to monitor guest activity and ensure safety.
• Work outdoors for extended periods, dressed appropriately for weather conditions.
• Be stationed outdoors when temperatures are 40°F or higher as part of regular security duties.

Compensation: $20-25 hourly (Based on Experience)
