Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, entrances, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost children assistance, and/or property damage reports.

* Monitor and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues; document activities and incidents using required reporting methods.

* Coordinate with property management and local law enforcement and/or emergency services partners as directed, assist with access control, and/or support special events and peak-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
