** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, galleries, classrooms, offices, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity, identify hazards, and/or spot policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify credentials when required, and assist with way finding and/or queue management during events, exhibitions, and peak arrival times.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, coordinating with site contacts, and requesting additional support when needed.

+ Complete routine reporting, incident documentation, and shift communication, including maintaining patrol logs, noting maintenance concerns, and escalating issues through the chain of command.

* + Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ Guard card/license preferred.

+ Customer service experience preferred.

+ CPR certification preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
