Museum & Event Security Officer; On-Call

Join our on-call events team supporting some of Chicago’s most recognizable cultural institutions and high-profile public spaces. This role offers the opportunity to work premier events alongside professional teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. Ideal candidates are polished, dependable, and thrive in dynamic event settings.

• Officers must be attentive, approachable, and capable of enforcing policies while delivering excellent customer service to guests, staff, and vendors.
• This is a high-visibility, physically demanding, customer-facing role in a fast-paced public environment.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Enforce museum rules and policies in a professional, customer-service-oriented manner.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management.
• Provide a visible security presence throughout the museum.
• Rotate between assigned posts as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work all shifts.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Willingness to work all posts and flexible schedules.
• Experience in museums, hospitals, retail centers, or high-traffic public venues.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs., completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
