Position Summary

We are seeking a Residential Pool Security Officer to join our team for the spring and summer to provide safety and policy enforcement at residential pool locations. This is a non-lifeguard position focused on observing, reporting, and maintaining a secure environment for residents and their guests. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and security of residential properties, ensuring peace of mind for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor the pool area to ensure compliance with posted rules and regulations
• Enforce pool policies in a professional and courteous manner
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or suspicious activity to management or emergency personnel as necessary
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter inappropriate behavior or unauthorized access
• Ensure that pool areas and surrounding areas remain secure and free of hazards
• Log daily activity reports and communicate any issues to the appropriate contacts
• Remain alert and attentive at all times during scheduled shifts
• Follow all MFort procedures and site-specific guidelines
• This is not a lifeguard position - officers are not permitted to enter the pool, perform rescues, or maintain pool equipment
• This is a seasonal role and will typically run during the warmer months.
• Officers must remain professional, composed, and customer-service oriented at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous security/concierge or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand and remain outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to assigned residential sites on time
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a High school Diploma/ GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shifts available:
• Sunday
  - Wednesday 11AM- 8pm (36 hours)
• Thursday - Saturday 11AM- 8PM (27 hours)
• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
