Security Officer – Afternoons and Nights

We are seeking security officers to join our team for all shifts, including afternoons and nights. Your duties will include access control, monitoring CCTV cameras, and performing patrol rounds in the interior of the building.

• Understand and maintain general post instructions and act as a residential expert in all facets of the operation.
• Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions as required by the client.
• Maintain access control procedures set by management.
• Effectively utilize access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems as needed.
• Document and report property damage and special occurrences accurately.
• Respond to incidents and document events with accuracy and diligence.
• Greet residents and visitors with a professional demeanor.
• Sign in and sign out all guests and vendors.
• Log incoming packages using the designated computer software.
• Provide excellent customer service and public relations interactions, maintaining an impeccable image to exceed client expectations.

• Variety of shifts available including 8‑hour shifts, weekends, weekdays, holidays, day, afternoon, and night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or military service record.
• Must possess a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or be willing to apply for one.
• Must have a 20‑hour training certificate or complete it within 30 days of employment.
• Complete a pre-employment screening process, including drug screening.
• Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to professional grooming standards.
• Exhibit a mature demeanor, personality, and attitude.
• Possess strong customer service and public relations skills, and the ability to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Possess strong communication skills—verbal, written, and non-verbal.
• Basic computer knowledge is necessary.
• Willingness to work with access control software programs.
• Maintain a working telephone at all times.
• Have reliable means of transportation.
