Americas Security Lead Intelligence AnalystThe Intelligence Analyst leads strategic and tactical threat intelligence efforts in partnership with the Americas and Global Security teams, with a focus on priorities in the Americas. The role supports EY’s security mission by collecting, assessing, and reporting relevant intelligence to help protect personnel, facilities, assets, and reputation. The analyst monitors emerging national and international security concerns and delivers written analyses and briefings to support security programs and crisis management operations.
Yourkey responsibilities
- Monitor & track incidents for area situational awareness related to core security disciplines (Executive Protection, Crisis Response, Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, Travel Security, Physical Security, Meetings & Events Security)
- Conduct comprehensive all-source monitoring, collection and analysis of threats potentially impacting firm assets in the Americas and communicate the information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Produce tactical risk assessments and various other reporting as needed for threats potentially impacting firm assets in the Americas.
- Collaborate with Regional Security personnel and other business partners to determine incident and threat impacts to the firm and coordinate responses.
- Gain and maintain an understanding of key area stakeholders’ top concerns and produce security assessments and incident/situational reporting based on requirements.
- Identify priority risk areas (geopolitical tensions, terrorism, political instability, civil unrest, crime, natural disasters) to help define top organizational concerns.
- Support the Americas Travel and Meetings & Events Security processes.
- Remain current on security and intelligence topics.
- Help develop continuous improvement and industry best practices regarding threat intelligence assessment & escalation protocols.
- Build relationships with corporate and government intelligence teams to share methodologies and analysis.
- Build, maintain and leverage relationships with key external agencies, law enforcement, intelligence/military agencies, and other public and private entities.
- Ability to analyze the business environment, geographical variations, security requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- Capacity to be a self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Advanced open-source research skills; knowledge of social media resources for proactive intelligence collection.
- Analytic experience within the Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) community and previous experience with law enforcement, the intelligence community, the military, security consulting, corporate security or enhanced due diligence.
- Technical expertise in gathering information from open sources, government or vendor reporting, social media and/or public or private sector partnership networks. Proficient knowledge of popular media sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Executive presentation skills with the ability to brief C‑suite level personnel.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance intelligence reporting.
- Demonstrated research and critical thinking skills to analyze large data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
- Understanding and experience of the intelligence cycle as defined by the US Government Intelligence Community.
- Experience with the Ontic Security Intelligence platform is highly desirable.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (international relations, political science, history, national security studies, government, journalism, or business communications preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in an analyst role, preferably within a dynamic security environment and large national, international, or multi‑national organization.
- US Intelligence Community agency experience is highly desirable.
- Recognized professional certification from the US Government or recognized organizations such as ASIS, MAX Security, or Bellingcat.
