Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patroller in Chicago, IL – you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Mon 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Thur 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Fri 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Sat 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site protocols for entry, identification verification, and or delivery coordination.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and or first responders during routine operations and unexpected events.

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
