As a Security Officer Patrol Navigator in Chicago, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including lobbies, common areas, corridors, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or building conditions to help support authorized access and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or other security-related issues.
• Support daily operations at the location by following post orders, preparing incident reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
