Location: Chicago, IL – South Side
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 5:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
We are hiring professional and dependable Port Security Officers for a secure port facility on Chicago’s South Side. This is a full-time, steady-schedule opportunity for experienced security professionals who thrive in controlled access environments.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTActive TWIC Card REQUIRED for consideration ( a pplicants with strong relevant security experience who are willing to obtain a TWIC card may be considered for TWIC reimbursement assistance.)
Required Qualifications- Active TWIC Card
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to follow post orders and site procedures consistently
- Previous gate access, port, warehouse, logistics, or industrial security experience
- 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Monitor and control access to the facility
- Verify credentials and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
- Complete detailed incident and activity reports
- Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
- Maintain a secure and safe environment at all times
- Stable work environment
