Maintenance Technician- Rosenwald Courts- Chicago, IL

Overview

KMG Prestige is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL who enjoys new challenges, takes pride in their work, and is detail oriented. The ideal candidate will strive to create happy residents through providing superior customer service and timely service requests. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, service requests, apartment turns, and emergency on-call.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across the property, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance repairs.
• Address service requests promptly and professionally to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Conduct apartment turns and coordinate with teams to prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as needed.

• Basic HVAC knowledge
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and drywall
• Appliance repair skills
• Knowledge of basic residential repairs
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and more
• Availability for emergency on-call
