Housing: Provided 7 days per week
Per Diem: $68 per day, 7 days per week
Job Description
Join our team in replacing the access control system at Rock Island Arsenal. This role involves the installation of a new Identiv Access Control System and a Closed-Circuit Television system. The project requires you to work within a government facility, adhering to all applicable security requirements.
Responsibilities- Install the Identiv Access Control System and Closed-Circuit Television system.
- Perform cable pulling, installation of field devices, and field and head-end terminations.
- Test and program devices.
- Troubleshoot and utilize problem-solving skills to execute work efficiently and minimize return trips.
- Operate professionally within a government facility, adhering to security requirements.
- Experience in low voltage installation and access control systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience with intrusion detection systems and structured cabling.
- Active secret security clearance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience installing systems on government sites.
- Certification in Software House (CCure 9000) and/or Identiv systems.
- Experience as a Tech 6 or equivalent, capable of acting as site lead and handling customer needs.

Work EnvironmentExpect to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, with typical hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Some jobs may start at 6 AM or 8 AM. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Optional overtime is available. The role involves 100% travel with housing provided and per diem for meals and incidentals during travel.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
