Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Aries Charter Transportation is seeking full-time diesel and bus mechanics at our Chicago facility. We operate a fleet of diesel- and gas-powered motor coach buses, school buses, transit buses, trolleys and minibuses.
Mechanics must have at least 2 years’ experience or technical training working on buses and diesel-powered vehicles.
Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred but not required). Candidates with valid CDL will be subject to additional compensation.
2nd Shift & 3rd Shift mechanics needed.
Up to $2,000 Signing Bonus for full-time employees. $750 available after first 90 days of employment after training. Additional $750 available after first 180 days of employment after training. Final $500 available after 270 days of employment.
Candidates must meet USDOT physical requirements and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Mechanic / maintenance shop currently operates 2 shifts, 7 days a week.
Mechanic must be able to work independently.
Additional training programs are available.
Position is safety sensitive.
Required tasks include preventive maintenance inspections, emergency and road failure repairs, general maintenance on electrical, HVAC, brake and accessory systems.
