Axionova Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure that our mechanical and electrical equipment operates efficiently and reliably. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and resolve issues, conduct repairs, and uphold our commitment to safety and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Preventative Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment to prevent potential malfunctions.
- Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Support and Assistance:
Provide support to other maintenance team members and assist in completing larger maintenance projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Technical Certification:
Certification in relevant areas such as electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, wiring diagrams, and use of diagnostic tools.
- Problem-Solving
Skills:
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose equipment issues and provide effective solutions.
- Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical issues in non-technical terms when communicating with clients or colleagues.
- Attention to Detail:
Ability to follow safety protocols, accurately complete documentation, and ensure thorough inspections and repairs.
