Traveling position that includes per diem and full benefits.

The Equipment Operator will operate heavy machinery for underground utilities construction or excavation projects in a safe manner, avoiding utilities and other obstacles.

An active CDL class A is required.

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Responsible for regular maintenance and care of the assigned heavy equipment, produce any documentation needed for each job, daily communication with managers is a must.
• Loads and hauls the machine.
• Drives, sets up, and breaks down safely and efficiently.
• Operates heavy equipment near active utilities.
• Have knowledge of shoring systems and how to use them.
• Rigging and setting of structures.
• Along with operating must be willing to assist in other activities such as but not limited to.
• Placement of conduit in open trenches.
• Proofing conduits.
• Potholing existing utilities.
• Forming and pouring of concrete.
• Placement of asphalt.
