Real Estate Sign Installer – Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule:

Work typically occurs Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work based on order volume and contractor availability. We are seeking reliable Independent Contractor Real Estate Sign Installers to support high-volume residential real estate signage. Installers will be responsible for the professional installation, servicing, and removal of real estate signs and accessories across assigned service areas.

• Install, service, and remove real estate post signs, frames, riders, and panels.
• Load and unload posts, panels, and hardware daily.
• Complete service requests and routes accepted by the contractor with agreed turnaround times.
• Contractors are free to perform similar services for other clients.
• Accurately scan and track inventory using mobile devices.
• Maintain clean, professional installations that meet brand and broker standards.
• Identify damaged or missing signs and report issues immediately.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and dispatch.
• Comply with local ordinances, HOA rules, and property access requirements.
• Safely operate vehicles, hand tools, and power tools.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable truck, van, or trailer capable of hauling posts and signage.
• Smartphone with data plan for routing and job tracking.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience using post drivers, sledges, augers, and basic power tools.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and detail oriented.
• Background in sign installation, construction, landscaping, fencing, or handyman work preferred.
• Insurance & Contractor Compliance:
  • Active Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance is required.
  • Auto insurance meeting state minimums.
• Responsible for all taxes, fuel, vehicle maintenance, and operating expenses.
• Must comply with all 1099 independent contractor requirements.

• Maintain required insurance at all times.
• Provide and maintain tools and safety equipment.
• Complete assigned work within agreed service‑level targets (e.g., typical completion within X business days of order).
• Maintain accurate inventory control and accountability.
• Contractor retains control over the manner and means of performing the work, subject only to meeting agreed specifications and completion timelines.
