As a Field Service Technician, you’ll serve as a trusted Field Turf expert, traveling to customer locations throughout Illinois and surrounding states to ensure every field performs at the highest level.

• Performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Field Turf synthetic turf systems
• Diagnosing issues and delivering timely, effective solutions that exceed customer expectations
• Completing accurate service documentation and reports in a timely manner
• Building strong relationships with customers through professional communication and outstanding service
• Educating field owners and operators on proper maintenance techniques and equipment usage to maximize field longevity and performance
• Collaborating with Field Care Coordinators, Customer Service teams, and regional sales representatives to provide seamless customer support
• Supporting Field Turf’s service growth by identifying maintenance and equipment opportunities for customers
• Maintaining company tools, equipment, and service vehicles to Field Turf standards
• Utilizing technology platforms including Outlook, Concur, and Field Service Lightning to manage schedules, reporting, and communication

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on troubleshooting experience
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
• A proactive, customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
• Experience with field service software or mobile service platforms is a plus
• A willingness to travel regularly throughout the region, with overnight stays. (Summer months are the busiest.)
• Strong Computer skills for email, reports and teams.

This role involves active outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires the ability to perform physical labor, including lifting equipment, field repairs, and extended time on job sites.
