Join SI ELECTRICAL LLC as an Industrial Electrician in Chicago, IL and surrounding suburbs. Looking for a skilled professional to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems in various industrial settings.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical components to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with a positive demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation is a plus.
