Job DescriptionThis is a remote position. Imagine being able to meet your leader BEFORE applying! This is a REMOTE role, however you MUST reside in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, or in Chicago, Houston, or Minneapolis. Applicants outside of these areas will NOT be considered. MISSION Support critical centrifuge and screening systems nationwide as part of a trusted field service team. This is an opportunity to start your civilian career in industrial service, develop advanced mechanical skills, and grow into a senior technical expert — with full training and mentorship provided.
About the Role The Remote Field Service Technician role is ideal for mechanically minded veterans or early-career technicians who want to combine travel, hands-on work, and problem-solving. This position begins with weekly travel for 6–12 months of paid training in Cincinnati, where you'll learn equipment and rebuild procedures. Once qualified, you'll transition into a full-time field service role supporting industrial clients across the Chicago and Wisconsin regions.
What You'll Do Work with senior technicians to master centrifuge systems. Perform mechanical teardown, rebuild, and inspection in the Cincinnati shop during training. Travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance, and field repairs (after training). Diagnose and resolve mechanical or vibration issues in high-speed rotating systems. Document service activities accurately and communicate effectively with customers. Represent our reputation for professionalism, safety, and reliability.
Training & Development First 6–12 months:
On-site training weekly in Cincinnati. After training:
Regional based field service in the Chicago / Wisconsin markets. Company-provided vehicle (SUV) and credit card for meals and travel expenses. Long-term mentorship and merit-based progression into senior technician roles
Requirements Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard. E4–E5 veteran or early-career technician with hands-on mechanical experience. Strong mechanical aptitude; basic understanding of tools, hydraulics, or electrical systems. Willingness to travel nationally after training. Team-oriented, humble, and eager to learn through hands-on experience.
Possession of a basic mechanic's tool set (specialty tools provided). Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
