Job Overview
Independence Painting Co. is hiring a full-time Wallpaper Installer to cover interior walls and ceilings of rooms with decorative wall coverings in the Des Plaines, IL area. The position offers a competitive wage of $25 - $35/hour and is a traveling role with expenses covered.
Day-to-DayThe role typically works 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with flexibility for occasional night and weekend hours. As a Wallpaper Installer you will measure walls and ceilings, compute strips, set up equipment including pasting tables, scaffolding, and pasting machines, prepare surfaces by removing old wallpaper when necessary, and apply new wall covering with precision.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will apply various wall coverings using techniques such as double cutting, booking, and trimming, ensuring a flawless finish for each client.
