Field Service Engineer - Chicagoland Area

Responsibilities

• Technical:
  Meet daily service repair needs of customer equipment by performing basic troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair; order and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Customer Service:
  Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure resolution and accurate follow‑up, utilizing documented processes and root‑cause analysis to resolve service issues and drive satisfaction.
• Lead Generation:
  Drive service business growth through sales actions for service agreements, parts, upgrades, consumables, and equipment leads.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant STEM field; equivalent military training; or Associate’s degree with 2+ years work experience.
• Travel:
  Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, including overnight stays, within the assigned territory.
• Motor vehicle:
  Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Physical:
  Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb.
• Experience:
  
  Preferred experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

• Annual salary range: $66,000 – $70,000 (subject to change).
• Bonus/incentive pay eligibility.
• Remote work arrangement is available; employees are expected to travel up to 35% of the time.
