Overview
Join our team as a Field Specialist II under the direction of the Operations Manager & Director of Operations. The role supports safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 inspections of above ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Assist in the successful completion of all field projects as directed.
- Communicate accurately with all crew members.
- Carry out directions of the crew foreman.
- Maintain punctuality and perform all duties professionally.
- Perform NDE tasks as required.
- Perform all work and travel safely.
- 2‑4 years of industry experience.
- Experience with a field service company.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with co‑workers, management, vendors, and customers.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 75%, including overnight and by air) with little notice.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a passport and TWIC card.
- Pass background and drug testing.
- Comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
- Knowledge or certification to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT, and other NDE methods as required.
- Occasional exposure to shop environment with lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Work frequently from a kneeling/ all‑fours position.
- May work in confined spaces.
- Outdoor setting and all weather.
- Must have adequate vision/corrective eyewear and be able to distinguish colors.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders frequently and repetitively.
- Must be available by phone during non‑standard working hours.
- Must pass a Pulmonary Fit Test, if required.
- Heavy travel schedule, estimated at 75%.

Travel and hours:
Work 50‑60 hours per week with occasional weekend work. Flexible working patterns are available.
