• Diagnose issues, disassemble, repair, and rebuild: all pump types, plus compressors and small turbines.
• Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting and repairs when needed.
• Operate shop equipment and material handling gear, including steam cleaners, sandblasters, bead blasters, cranes/hoists/come‑alongs, forklifts, pullers/presses/rams, ovens/heaters, and impact tools.
• Execute maintenance welding to support repairs.
• Lead the team in the supervisor’s absence and keep projects moving.
• Collaborate closely with coworkers to maintain a safe, efficient, high‑quality operation.

• Fluent with grinders, heating/burning torches, drill press, radial drill, balance machine, and precision metrology.
• Experienced assembling rotors with hand‑fitting using die grinders.
• Able to interpret and follow OEM service specifications and written/verbal instructions.
• Clear, professional communicator—written and spoken.

• 5+ years as a pump mechanic with hands‑on shop repair; comfortable assembling/disassembling pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Proficient in acetylene and electric arc welding.
• Knowledgeable in repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques; adept with power/hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Millwright experience or formal training (accredited technical college/trade school) or an equivalent multiyear apprenticeship.
• Understanding of electric motors and their integration with pump systems.
• High school diploma required.

• Journeyman or US military background.
• Two years of machining and tooling experience in a machine shop environment.
