Hydro Inc. is a Chicago‑headquartered, global pump re‑engineering company and the largest independent pump rebuilder in the world. Since 1969, our mission has been to elevate plant reliability by understanding root causes of pump failures and delivering unbiased engineering analysis, quality workmanship, and rapid field service.

- Operate shop equipment and material handling gear, including steam cleaners, sandblasters, bead blasters, cranes/hoists/come‑alongs, forklifts, pullers/presses/rams, ovens/heaters, and impact tools.
- Execute maintenance welding to support repairs.
- Lead the team in the supervisor’s absence and keep projects moving.

- Proficient in acetylene and electric arc welding.
- Knowledgeable in repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques; adept with power/hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
- Millwright experience or formal training (accredited technical college/trade school) or an equivalent multiyear apprenticeship.
