Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Your role will involve both preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery, ensuring the efficient operation of various equipment.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery.
- Repair gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, chillers, proofers, ovens, and baggers.
- Work with electrical systems up to 480V.
- Rewire and swap out motors.
- Assist machine operators in setting up and changing over machinery.
- Perform welding and fabricating tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical issues using a volt meter.
- Ability to swap, repair, and wire motors for various equipment.
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Skills & Qualifications
- PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting.
- Boiler (steam) maintenance experience.
- Welding - Stick and Tig experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
