Lead Security Technician

• Manage installation of technology integration systems
• Run wire and furnish/install technology devices
• Work with lead installers to manage the day-to-day onsite scope of work
• Coordinate communication among the design team, project management team, lead installer, and other trades
• Install intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems according to drawings, manufacturer instructions, codes, and standards
• Test and commission systems for functionality and compliance
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic security systems
• Complete installations and service calls efficiently while minimizing waste, overtime, and rework
• Utilize and maintain field software for time entry, task entry, project status, drawing annotations, and pictures
• Follow safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and report hazards
• Explain system functions and resolve client concerns onsite
• Complete daily reports, redlines, timesheets, and as-built drawings
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians throughout projects
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance or customer experience and relay them to supervisors

• Proven work experience as a Security Technician or in a similar role
• Experience with one or more of: networks, control systems, intercom systems, surveillance systems, security systems, or access control systems
• Familiarity with Salient Systems, Avigilon Systems, DMP, ELK, Bosch, Genea, Openpath, Lenel OnGuard, or similar systems
• Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with internal and external project stakeholders
• Ability to log project hours and complete work orders in company systems

Demonstrates expertise in managing the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and surveillance systems. Proficient in coordinating project communication and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
