Metra Commuter Rail is seeking a Building and Bridges Mechanic Assistant to support the maintenance of Metra's fixed assets, including buildings, stations, bridges and tracks. The role involves hands-on construction and repair work with exposure to outside conditions, under a collective bargaining agreement.
The position is union-based with starting pay rates varying per the CBA. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the six-county region are required.
