About the Opportunity:- We're looking for a hands-on Service Technician to support the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty operations of locomotives and coaches. You'll work both onsite and remotely, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs and modifications, and providing technical support to keep customer equipment operating reliably and safely.

What You'll Do:- Commission and support warranty operations while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures using drawings, schematics, circuit plans, and diagnostic software.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and Field Modifications (FMIs), using shop machinery, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
- Provide onsite and remote 2nd- and 3rd-level technical support, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions for equipment issues.
- Document failures, repairs, modifications, parts returns, and RMA activities in the appropriate systems and databases.
- Communicate with customers, team members, site leads, and managers while following applicable technical, safety, and industry procedures.
- Automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines are examples for this level or work.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical service, equipment maintenance, commissioning, repair, or a related mechanical/electrical field.
- Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the field of work, gained through a structured and focused 3-year vocational training period.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
