Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance or HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and MVR report.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or a 2-year associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO2 systems.

Hourly wage range: $29.00 – $56.00. Additional premiums may also apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Eligible for bonus incentive.
