Shuttle Bus Diesel Mechanic

ABM Industries is seeking a Shuttle Bus Diesel Mechanic to keep our shuttle fleets operating safely and reliably. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems on shuttle buses serving diverse client sites. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, respond to road calls, and use diagnostic tools to quickly resolve issues and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair shuttle bus diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, including fluid checks and filter changes
• Troubleshoot electrical, brake, suspension, and cooling system issues
• Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve faults
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with safety standards
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime
• Respond to road calls and support emergency repairs as needed
• Ensure shop, tools, and equipment are kept clean, safe, and organized
