We are currently looking for full-time Supervisor

Starting at $51,200 - $55,000; contingent upon experience, education, etc.

Division Overview:
Youth & Family Services (YFS) help parents and young people strive to become healthy and restore their relationships. This division works in partnership with human services, child welfare systems, juvenile courts, and community-based service providers so that together we can help individuals and families obtain the services and skills they need to live in positive, healthy ways.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the TASC Reporting Center (TRC). The goals of the program are to provide highly structured and well-supervised group activities that offer direct positive trauma-informed services to meet the need of court-involved male, female, and non-gender identifying individuals and reduce the rate of recidivism among the youth referred to the reporting center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manages and provides oversight for staff productivity and all client and program-related services.

* Ensure staff compliance with conducting Intake/Orientation with the youth to discuss the core skills needed to enhance their strengths and challenges; a daily transportation plan (electronic route sheet system) is established, and the youth's address is entered into a daily transportation route sheet which lists the youth to be transported and the assigned driver

* Provide Pre- and Post- curriculum testing, as well as pre-and post-assessment/evaluations to monitor youth progress and program benefits

* Establishes work schedules for assigned staff and provide direct coverage when necessary

* Empowers and encourages clients in matters affecting them, demonstrating receptive attitudes and sensitivity to choices based on cultural and ethnic heritage, and sexual orientation

* Implement services that reduce the influence and impact of risk factors; and increase awareness of protective factors and behaviors

* Facilitate Strength-based integrative discharge planning and warm handoff to the Department of Probation and Court Services

* Prepares, interprets and present reports regarding program operations and assist the Administrator in the evaluation of service and utilization of resources

* Participates in the review of staff performance and the completion of annual performance evaluations

* Provides guidance and support in resolving crises with clients

* Ensures documentation is completed within the timelines established by the agency and regulations

* Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures

* Provide representation and consultation with other outside professionals to facilitate coordination, collaboration, and cooperation between the agency and the community

Our Ideal candidate:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Valid driver's license

* CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC may be required based on contractual obligations

* Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

* Demonstrated experience in group facilitation

* Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals, or the ability to acquire the knowledge

* Comfort working inside a correctional setting and with persons convicted of serious violent offenses

* Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions

* Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
