Position Overview
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time psychologist on the non‑tenure clinician‑educator track at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor. The role focuses on treating patients with bipolar disorders within a newly formed multidisciplinary center that emphasizes comprehensive treatment, patient and family centered care, quality improvement, and measurable outcomes.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. The expected base pay range is $120,000 – $150,000.
Provide evidence‑based assessment and treatment for patients with bipolar disorder, both in‑person and via telehealth. Work collaboratively with other clinicians and scientists in a multidisciplinary setting. Participate in clinician‑educator duties such as teaching, supervision, and program development. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to measurable outcomes for patient care.
Qualifications- PhD or PsyD from an APA‑accredited clinical psychology program with a completed APA‑approved internship.
- Experience and interest in evidence‑based assessment and treatment of bipolar disorder.
- Competency in working with diverse communities and patients with intersectional identities.
- Licensed or license‑eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in Illinois.
- Ability and willingness to provide care in‑person and via telehealth.
