The Housing Specialist I is responsible for conductinginitial and continued eligibility as well asroutine transaction processing for

subsidized housing programs. This role requires afoundational understanding ofsubsidized housing programs and effective

• Assist clients with the application process for subsidized housing programs (HCV, PH,LIHTC, etc.)
• Review and verify documentation to determine eligibility.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case files.
• Provide information and support to clients regarding program requirements and processes.
• Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, andlocal regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Must complete specialist certification coursewithin 60 days of hire. (HCV, Public Housing, LIHTC, etc.)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in subsidizedprograms eligibility required.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part ofa team.
