Our clients are seeking CWEL licensed Foster Care Case Managers/Child Welfare Specialists throughout the Chicago area.

Hourly Rate: Up to $30/hr compensation is dependent on contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills.

• Carry a caseload comprised of DCFS wards of the State and their families
• Perform a range of social work duties, including gathering and analysis of data and the formulation of treatment plans
• Formulate understanding of clients’ situations, providing appropriate services to meet client/family needs
• Transport clients and supervise the facilitation of sibling and parental visits, following DCFS policies
• Attend juvenile court, collaborative conferences with DCFS, school staffing and other meetings that may impact the well‑being of the client and the family
• Advocate for clients’ best interest in school settings, at juvenile court, and in any other systems which interface with the client and the family
• Link client and their families with community resources to help meet treatment goals
• Perform record keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency
• Collaborate with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems

• CWEL – Must be active
• CERAP – Must be active
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
