Job Summary:
The Residential Life Skills and Recreation Coach will work with residents in the Dr. Dennis Deer Community Justice Center Residents. The Life Coach works directly with high-risk individuals in the residential center. The Life Skills and Recreation Coach’s job is to partner with residents to develop and strengthen the life skills necessary for the residents to thrive and grow in time management strategies, and effective life skills tailored to them bettering their lives.
You will need to motivate residents to take responsibility for their lives by fostering self-regulation, goal setting, and persistence throughout their time while living at the Deer Center. You will also develop and facilitate workshops, presentations, and programming that promote safety. You will need to collaborate with other staff such as case managers, attorneys, therapists, outreach workers, and other community partners.
Saturday and Sunday:3pm-12pm
