To provide support for the safety/security policies and procedures of program site

Hours

Monday
- Thursday - 4:30pm- 5:30pm

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Monitor front desk
  • Log visitors and permit entry
  • Facilitate drop-off and pick-up of students
  • Serve as first point of contact for parents
  • Patrol access points during program operation
  • Obtain help and provide emergency assistance when necessary
  • Prevent conflict with support from instructional staff
  • Maintain high visibility during program operation
  • Document unusual occurrences
  • Field telephone calls as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience/Training
  • Must have High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have experience in urban school settings
  • Strong general knowledge of the population of students at risk and experience with passion for successful intervention strategies of these students
Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to understand and interpret the policies, procedures, and general organizational structure of CPS
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
