Application Engineer

Base Pay Range

$60.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Our client is a prominent Global leader dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences with over 1,000 subsidiaries and affiliated brands. They are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join their team immediately. The role combines deep technical expertise in Java, API development, cloud engineering, and modern Dev Ops practices with strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills. The ideal candidate excels in building scalable solutions, driving platform modernization efforts, and supporting cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise Java (J2EE) and web applications across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Build scalable, secure applications and support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and support cross‑functional, distributed teams.
• Maintain and enhance CRM API and MDM platforms and assist with migrations to cloud architectures.
• Support and develop SOAP/REST APIs and data integrations across systems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and help transition to cloud‑based automation tools.
• Troubleshoot issues, review logs, and perform root cause analysis.
• At least 7 years of application development experience with strong Java, J2EE, and full‑stack engineering skills.
• Experience building reusable components and working in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern Dev Ops practices.
