Java Technical Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java backend Lead
Developer to join our team and work on enterprise-level web applications. This role involves hands‑on development, mentoring junior resources, and close collaboration with clients and cross‑functional teams.

• Mentor and manage trainees and junior developers on the project
• Design, develop, and support enterprise-level J2EE web applications
• Work hands‑on as a Java backend developer integrating multiple backend systems
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and frontend teams to define and implement backend integrations
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based deployments
• Work effectively in onshore/offshore delivery models
• Participate in Agile and Waterfall project environments

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Java Web / Enterprise application development
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Cloud technologies
• Hands‑on experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Experience migrating SOAP web services to REST APIs
• Solid understanding of design patterns and enterprise architecture
• Experience with Java EE, Maven, and open‑source Java frameworks
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss, Web Logic
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services
• Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL, JDBC, and ORM tools
• Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions
• Proven experience with CI/CD, deployment, scalability, and performance optimization
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Hands‑on experience working in Agile and Waterfall development models
