Job Summary
Front End Software Engineer 3 at Free Wheel (a Comcast company). Building fast, intuitive, beautiful web applications as a Senior Frontend Engineer, focusing on enterprise products that enable transactions across screens, data types, and sales channels.
Responsibilities- Work with senior developers, product managers, and designers to build user‑friendly web interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable code using React, Type Script, and modern frontend tools.
- Develop and improve frontend features for enterprise applications.
- Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices for high‑quality software.
- Test and debug own code, support QA in identifying and fixing issues.
- Contribute to shared UI components and design systems.
- Integrate frontend features with backend APIs.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Take ownership of smaller tasks and features with guidance from senior teammates.
- Review and research requirements, design solutions, and create technical documentation.
- Implement unit testing, logging, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
- Analyze production data to optimize speed, scalability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues, work with operations, and ensure high availability.
- Maintain application compatibility with new hardware/software, monitor competitors, and review relevant literature.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers on feature development.
- Work independently, attend regularly, and be available nights/weekends as needed.
- 3+ years of professional experience building production‑grade web applications.
- Proficient with React, Type Script, and modern web development practices.
- Strong user empathy and product‑focused mindset.
- Experience in cross‑functional teams in agile environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with design systems and component‑driven development.
