Join the SIS 2.0 team of Cat Digital and be responsible for performing front-end software development, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for this mission critical application.

The main tech stack needed is Azure Cloud, Vue.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS and React.

• Designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods.
• Writing source codes for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing code for existing applications.
• Perform testing and maintenance using Caterpillar’s SIS (Service Information System) approved tools.

• Effective Communications: Extensive knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working knowledge of the decision-making process and tools; ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Software Development: Extensive experience with software development and ability to produce systems in line with product requirements using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.
• Software Development Life Cycle: Working knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.
• Software Integration Engineering
  :
  Working knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.

• Extensive hands-on experience writing code in distributed systems (
  Azure Cloud
  ) (typically 5+ years)
• Extensive hands-on experience writing quality and safe code in Vue.js, Node.js
  , HTML, CSS and React (typically 5+ years)
• Extensive experience manually troubleshooting code and deploying code using Git, Github actions and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and proven experience with MSQL.
• Proven experience in some of the following:
  • Working experience with React Native
  • Working experience with REDIS and Snowflake
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
• Passion for new technology
