Senior .Net Developer​/Hybrid​/Chicago

Overview

A top 100 company is looking to bring on a Senior .Net Engineer to lead the rebuild efforts for their outdated applications. You would be building greenfield internal insurance software. This organization has a 2-day hybrid model in Chicago Illinois. You would be joining a growing organization who is shifting their internal priorities to improve their software quality. This organization is an extremely stable organization and never initiated layoffs throughout their existence.

• A university qualification in a computing, engineering, or technology-focused discipline, or comparable hands-on professional experience.
• At least three years of practical background building and maintaining software solutions in a development-focused role.
• Hands-on development experience creating modern applications using .Net Core, React, Entity and SQL
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases within the Microsoft ecosystem, with the ability to create, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries.
• Demonstrated capability designing and implementing user-facing layouts with modern markup and styling techniques that support cross-device compatibility.
• Experience working within cloud-hosted environments and development pipelines, along with exposure to low-code and business automation tools within the Microsoft platform.
• Proven ability to assess complex problems, analyze requirements, and convert functional needs into effective technical implementations.
• Clear and effective communicator who can work collaboratively with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
• Self-directed professional who can manage responsibilities and deliver results with minimal supervision.

• Lead the rebuild efforts for outdated applications and develop greenfield internal insurance software.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver technical solutions.
• Design and implement frontend and backend components using modern technologies in a cloud-hosted environment.
